Spontaneity

Tongue Point
Looking towards Tongue Point

Those close to me know that I love to travel. I’ve been privileged enough to travel as much as I have so far and I intend to continue that trajectory. As travel and tourism slowly opens up around the world post corona lockdown, here in Australia shows no sign of such happening…yet. Entry and exit out of the country remains limited with some states even closing borders in response to outbreaks. I know many of us are itching to ‘get out’ for some spontaneous breaks including myself but it’s a game of patience.

Selling Myself

Selling myself on LinkedIn

No I don’t mean selling myself for “services”. Actually I’d be terrible and almost certain to lose money. I mean selling myself in the professional sense. We do it all the time whether consciously or subconsciously. Like choosing to wear nice clothes over holey rags.

Plant Parenthood

Plant parenthood

Plant parenthood. Is it a fad or is it a way of life? For me it conjures an image of an alternate eco version of a crazy cat lady. But I truly believe in the concept of introducing more plants and greenery to our lives especially with the increased times spent indoors. These days, they are everywhere. From envy inducing home photos, exercise video backdrops to real estate staging photos. I would love to fill my home with a melange of plants like a box of Cadbury Favourites.
